A: It is highly unlikely. Similar programs have existed on PC for years and no one has been banned for using them so far.

Q: Can I play Steam games on my PC while Idle Daddy is running?

A: If you play games on your PC while Idle Daddy is running, it will be disconnected from the Steam network. To ensure safety, it is recommended to stop Idle Daddy completely before playing games on your PC.

Q: How does the farming algorithm work? Why does Idle Daddy only farm one game at a time?

A: The issue with farming multiple games simultaneously is that you do not receive trading cards while idling multiple games. The drop rate is effectively reduced to zero by Steam. For this reason, it is only useful to get your games "ready" (meaning their playtime is high enough for card drops) before farming them individually. The farming algorithm of Idle Daddy works as follows:

1. Idle Daddy farms games one at a time that have at least HoursUntilCardDrops (default: 3 hours) of playtime.
2. If no such game is found, Idle Daddy will idle multiple games (up to 32, the maximum supported by Steam) until they reach HoursUntilCardDrops.
3. This process repeats until all trading cards are obtained.

Q: Why does Idle Daddy indicate that I have zero games left to farm?

A: First, check if your account actually has any cards remaining by visiting this page. If it shows "No card drops remaining," then there are no cards left for Idle Daddy to farm. Additionally, ensure that Family View is not enabled on your account, as it requires a parental PIN to unlock the account. You can enter this PIN in the Idle Daddy settings.

Q: Why doesn't login happen through the Steam™ website?

A: Idle Daddy functions similarly to the official Steam™ client, which does not log in through the website either. Instead, you enter your account credentials into a dialog. This is because Idle Daddy logs into the Steam Network, not the website, as it requires access to features like playing games through your account that are not available on the website.

Q: Why aren't free-to-play games like DOTA2 or TF2 appearing in my library?

A: Free-to-play games will only appear in your Steam™ library if two conditions are met:

1. "Include Free Played Games" must be enabled in Idle Daddy's settings (enabled by default).
2. Your account must have more than 0 hours of playtime in these games.
